Almost everyone wants to be an explorer. They have such adventure and exciting times. But its an incredibly hard job. They must come prepared and ready for any dangers or incase they'll need any special materials to get around. They'll need TONS of stuff obviously but they CAN'T take too much because if they carry too much because it'll be much too heavy and they won't be able to travel as fast. But they will need to bring food, water, supplies ( torch, cooking equiptment, knife, compass etc ) and things they will need to survive and maybe some rope or climbing equiptment if they're going somewhere with mountains or high areas. Now there is a special biscuit that is very full of energy and quite hard and is very light which is good to take for traveling. Now a compass is a very important tool, it is a magnetic tool that magnetizes the north and south poles. But nower days we have GPS's that are electrical and not magnetic like the ones we used to use or a map of course. But if you're going to somewhere like Antarctica you can't use a mab, as it can't possibly say turn at the next iceberg.
People may think that everywhere has been discovered, but there's always a new place to be discovered just round the corner. You never know what could be there just waiting to be found out. Maybe one day you could discover something, weather it be a hidden building or an abandonned island.
